China will raise prices of petrol and diesel of 320 yuan (about 53.2 dollars) per ton beginning Sunday, said Saturday the State Commission for Reform and Development (CERD).

The pump price of petrol will therefore increase by 0.26 yuan per liter, while that of diesel will increase by 0.30 yuan per liter, according to a statement posted on the website of the CERD.
